Pascal's Wager and Voting
I have to write this before the election real quick
I’m not going to make this article some kind of John Doyle video, I’m not going to tell you that this is the most important election of our lives, I’m not going to try and convince you that Trump will save us, I’m not going to tell you that electoral politics are important or even real. I’m not going to even try and tell you that anything will happen at all. This is a pragmatic call to voting for Trump for those who are on the fence, for those who believe that Trump won’t change anything, that he’s just as bad as Kamala, etc.
Also, I’m going to keep this short and sweet.
My argument is essentially Pascal’s Wager but for voting.
First, none of you are voting for Kamala, right? Lol. My argument doesn’t work for leftists, this is only for right-wingers who are iffy on Trump.
If you Vote Trump and your vote matters: Trump wins
If you vote Trump and your vote doesn’t matter: then it doesn’t matter.
If you don’t vote, and your vote matters: you missed out.
If you don’t vote, and your vote doesn’t matter: Then it doesn’t matter.
Thus, it is your best bet to vote for Trump.
If your vote matters:
Vote trump and he’s good: Nice
Vote trump and he’s lame: lame
Don’t vote and trump’s good: Great, now we have Kamala.
Don’t vote trump and he’s lame: Either we get lame trump or lame kamala
Thus, it is your best bet to vote for Trump.
I don’t see the point in writing any more than this, you get my point.
